Using Visidaq Pro X Software

with Exceed X-Windows Emulator

SYSTEM SETUP
The following are descriptions of setup and configuration parameters determined to work best when operating Visidaq Pro X software on a PC system using Hummingbird X-Windows emulator. Setup examples are from Exceed Multiplatform V6.01/V5.2.1. If you are using an earlier version you may need to locate the appropriate setup parameter in a different screen. Using these settings allows the Visidaq Pro X software to be operated in each of the Strip Chart, XY Plot, and Page Display modes.

1.) IMPORTANT: Visidaq Pro X software works best when used in its highest display resolution mode of 1280 x 1024 and using 256 colors only. First, your PC’s video configuration and monitor should be setup in this resolution to take advantage of the best displays. If colors are set to anything except 256 you may get graphics errors. Use your operating system’s My Computer, Control Panel and Display Properties utilities to adjust the screen setting. (Fig. 1, 2 & 3)
